TUESDAY 27

11.00am  COFFEE MORNING AT THE GREENHOUSE CAFÉ, Kew TW9 3PS

Hopefully we'll be sitting outside today. Later on we can eat here or go further afield.

The cafe is at the corner of Station Parade, Kew Gardens Road & Sandycombe Rd

STATION  Kew Gardens.  From main exit of station (the platform from Richmond)

walk straight ahead taking left fork and you'll soon see the cafe on your right.

BUS  391  passes the café

      or 65 along Kew Rd to Victoria Gate then walk down Lichfield Road

Come for lunch &/or drinks.   If the weather is good we can stay in the pub's garden.

The pub is at 62 St Mary's Rd opposite St Mary’s Church.

From SOUTH EALING tube turn left along S Ealing Rd. It is just past the bend on the left.  

BUS:   65 from Ealing get off at St Mary's Church;

    towards Ealing get off at stop after South Ealing tube & keep walking

TUESDAY 3

11.00am COFFEE at GINKGO GARDEN CENTRE, Ravenscourt Park, W6 0SL

Come again to this coffee shop in the garden centre actually in Ravenscourt Park. Afterwards we will walk to one of the local restaurants for lunch.

NB. Just in case it is closed for any reason we will move to Café Maja in King St

Its address is 17 Ravenscourt Avenue.

TUBE  Ravenscourt Park. Turn right at the ticket barrier. Turn right out of the station. Go under the railway bridge then turn left along the footpath into the park. Turn left under the railway bridge and it’s on the left. (5 mins walk).

Popular pub so best to come early if you can, before it gets crowded. Later on we could wander across the Green for tea and cakes at St Anne's Church.

The pub is on the south side of Kew Bridge & almost next to ASK bar/restaurant.

237, 267 stop in Kew Bridge Road. Cross Kew Bridge & turn right. The pub is on your right just past ASK

I've decided to return to this great value eaterie after a successful visit last year. I will try to get a table on cafe side for a pre-meal drink.

This pleasant pub close to the Thames has a large, spacious garden. Hopefully it will be nice enough to sit outside. Come for lunch and/or drinks.

BUSES                   27, 190, 267, 391, H91 stop in King St. From King St, turn into Black Lion Lane. This will take you to the underpass under the Gt West Rd which leads to South Black Lion Lane & the pub.

Join me for coffee at the Plantation Café in this garden centre. Afterwards we can go for lunch nearby.

Squire's is in Sixth Cross Rd, on corner of Wellington Rd, close to Fulwell Bus Garage

BUSES  R70 from Richmond Station goes past the Garden Centre;
